so….My dear baby, I have been a slacker, please forgive me…alot has been going on since the last time I visited this blog. You have been growing soo much and I been embracing each and every day this belly has been with me. You kick and glide and it gives me joy and great comfort knowing that you are so active. Mid August 8/24/12 was an emotional month..I will tell you someday day baby. But all I can say for now is that we are blessed with Angels all around us..and thank goodness we are safe and sound and out of harms way. September we had a few birthdays and we both had more than a mouthful of sweets…mommy went to a weight hike..yikes, but at least we had some good ole food. Which of course mommy and daddy love. and thanks to Gina who closed out the month of september with your baby shower in Harrisburg, PA On 9.29.12. The Paredes family showered you with great gifts. October 5, 2012 we had a wedding..and the very next day 10/6/12 we had your baby shower in Astoria Queens at Ricardo’s. It was a great get together among family and friends. Daddy was able to attend and be a part of it which made me very happy…since it was all about you. Grandma Zully and Sonia did a great job in the planning. Grandpa Canton was proud to provide music and was a great host. It was a success, I can’t wait to share the pictures with you some day. October was my very last month a work..I had planned to work until November 9, 2012 but NYC was hit with hurricane Sandy the week of Halloween. But just before the storm came, mommy thought you were coming alot sooner than expected. This was on 10.24.12 thursday..I was not feeling so well that day at work…I had contractions and not sure what to think. But mommy made the call to the doctor and sure enough he wanted to see us, to make sure if we were okay. Daddy ended up meeting me in the city…and with still some uncertainty…in the end it turn out to be a lil fever and dehydration that cause me to feel that way. I felt so bad baby, your heart beat was high and we waited until we were stable before we were released. Little did I know that was the first and last time I would see the inside of NYU Langone Tisch hospital. It would also mark the last day of work and the first day of my Maternity leave. Titi Bren and Adriona had yet another baby shower for you the next day…and mommy missed it because I had to stay home and rest, as per doctor’s orders.
Soooo flash forward a bit, we made it thru the storm some people weren’t so lucky…we fortunately lost no power and daddy, nobu and I stayed in a few days. and we did what we needed to do most and that was to get your room ready. We got your dresser and crib and bedding and decorations and finally completed the nursery for our little princess.
Today is november 15, baby you seem to be very comfy in the womb. You have not dropped and there are no signs yet of your arrival….everyone keep calling, texting and asking “is she here yet?” guess when you are ready, you will let us know. We are closing in on your due date of 11/19/12. Thanksgiving is gonna be extra special this year…we are sooo close my dear baby…daddy and I are counting the seconds…see you soon.
